Supporting Many Activities in the Field of Education in Samsun, Yeşilyurt Family Will Have a 16 Classroom School (with 16 classrooms) Built in Selyeri Neighborhood of Tekkeköy District Selyeri Neighborhood.

The school, which will be built by Yeşilyurt Demir Çelik Endüstrisi ve Liman İşletmeleri Ltd Şti on a land of 19.550m2 owned by the General Directorate of Agricultural Enterprises, will be the most modern and equipped vocational and technical Anatolian high school building and workshop (clinic with 3 classrooms) in the Black Sea Region.

Making a statement on the subject, philanthropist Cemal Yeşilyurt said, "As Yeşilyurt family, we attach great importance to education. National education always comes to the fore in our social investments. I hope our children who study in these schools will grow up well. We are one of the longest-running companies in Turkey. We leave solid foundations to our grandchildren so that they can continue doing the same tomorrow. May our school be beneficial to our city."

Moreover, Yeşilyurt family donated 100 tablets to support “Everybody’s Here, Teacher!” project which was launched for students who do not have internet access, nor a device to connect to the internet or a TV at home, who have problems in reaching EBA Support Points, who live in rural areas and cannot leave their homes due to quarantine during the Covid-19 process, to be able to benefit from EBA live lessons and EBA portal. The family stated that they will continue their support.
