BILLETS
Scrap iron used as raw material is melted in the electric arc furnace and turned into liquid steel.
Liquid steel is transferred from the arc furnace to the ladle furnace. After necessary alloying and purification processes are carried out in the ladle furnace in order to make the liquid steel suitable for the targeted steel quality, it is sent to the continuous casting machine, and transformed into semi-finished steel billets with required dimensions.
Application Area
Our semi-finished billets are used in the production of coils, construction steel, angles and profiles.
