Members of Samsun Physically Handicapped Sports Club visited Cemal Yeşilyurt, Chairman of the Board of Yeşilyurt Demir Çelik A.Ş. Samsun Governor Osman Kaymak also accompanied the visit. Expressing his satisfaction with the visit, Cemal Yeşilyurt said, "We will always support our brothers and sisters who have achieved great success in sports despite their disability."

Speaking at the visit, Samsun Governor Osman Kaymak said: "I congratulate our disabled athletes. Your achievements make us proud. You show us that all physical obstacles are surmountable. You show people an example of the struggle for life. It is nice that there are businessmen with human values, who understand your situation while you are fighting these struggles. For this reason, I would like to thank Mr. Cemal Yeşilyurt. We invest in football, but by investing in sub-branches, we will strengthen both our city and surrounding areas. I think it is necessary to show that Samsun is a sports city by supporting amateur clubs as well. Samsun has gained momentum in sports. We are also working on this. We would very much like to see a team that will represent Samsun and Turkey in the world".

Yakup Özden, President of Samsun Physically Handicapped Sports Club, said, “I would like to thank Mr. Cemal Yeşilyurt, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yeşilyurt Demir Çelik AŞ. God bless him. Thanks to his support, our club became the European Champion in the basketball match against Romania in 2014-15. This is a first in the Black Sea region. We came back as the champions as an amateur team".

After the speeches, handicapped athletes were given gold coins as a gift by Yeşilyurt Demir Çelik AŞ.
